The Problem Became Personal

Claude didn’t study bathroom capacity failures in a textbook, he lived them.

At a Thanksgiving dinner in a one bathroom home, guests scattered across town just to use a bathroom. A 15-year-old occupied the only restroom for 30 minutes. Some went outside. Others drove to closed gas stations. Claude’s group drove all the way back home.

All because of urine.

Managing stadium stand operations serving 10,000 to 65,000 fans, he watched bathroom lines become the #1 customer complaint, worse than parking, worse than concessions, worse than everything.

In construction, he saw workers dehydrate themselves rather than face inadequate facilities.

He witnessed a 90-year-old who still drove and lived independently refused a bedside commode, he saw himself as strong, not sick or weak. Yet terrified of nighttime falls, he quietly used disposable McDonald’s cups rather than surrender his identity to medical equipment designed for the infirm.

Everywhere Claude looked, across industries, across continents, in his own family, the same problem: bathrooms can’t scale when demand spikes.

That’s why he founded Ecoloway and invented brands such as Urinup™ and LavOut™

Claude will lead Urinup through product launch and market validation. As the company scales, he plans to bring in an experienced CEO with expertise in consumer product growth, while remaining actively involved in vision, innovation, strategic partnerships, and mission stewardship.

An accomplished commercial business leader with more than 30 years of experience in the medical device,
pharmaceutical, and consumer package goods industries. Linwood has held significant leadership roles in publicly traded, private equity, and founder-led businesses, as well as aggressive growth startups, where he transformed the business and processes to drive revenue and profitability. Linwood also builds and optimizes commercial structures
building teams that aggressively compete to win in the marketplace. 
Corporate Officer Experience: Linwood currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of ECOLOWAY, as well as Managing Director and Chief Strategist of MediVanta, a boutique healthcare
marketing and consulting organization. Previously, Linwood served as Senior Executive Director at Indegene (a digitally native omnichannel and healthcare solution provider), where he led the specialty pharma and medical technology practice areas. Earlier, he served as Senior Director of Global Product Marketing at Hologic for their flagship breast health business, where he led an increase in market share to 90% of 3D mammography capital equipment. Linwood also held director/vice president roles in healthcare marketing at Baxter Healthcare, NxStage
Medical, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He began his career working for well-respected consumer packaged goods
companies, including Ocean Nutrition Canada (a leading supplier of fish oil dietary supplements and fortified foods), ConAgra Foods, Coors Brewing Company, Dial Corporation, and Pepsi.

logistics, public relations, consumer affairs, consumer relationship marketing, digital marketing/social media, and
